The Art of Storytelling
Stories allow others to travel through time, go on journeys, and experience lived or imaginative reality through words, speech, and still or moving images. They can be creative or historical; factual or imaginative; fantastical or morally charged. A business’ journey can include great inspiration and vision, periods of unprecedented change, great failure, and even great redemption. This training will teach you the art of telling a good story, and how to use those skills to craft your own.
Influencing with Authority
There is a fine line between influence and manipulation. The heart meter on this is your motive. What do you want to accomplish? Why should others care? How will this move the needle forward? Why should a leader or investor endorse your business or idea? This workshop will teach you how to identify mutual interests between you and your sponsor/investor, how to package your strategy or idea into a mold that is most receptive to your audience, how to make sure that your motives are pure (Proverbs 16:2-3), and how to be bold about your business or idea (1 Timothy 2:7).
